Nagpur First's endeavour was to have this Global Development Platform in the form of the Annual Global Nagpur Summit happening in a stronger way each year from 2014 until at least 2020 and beyond. This citizen driven summit has been actively supported and continues to receive support by the city administration, political leaders, business fraternity and professionals. To further its vision of “Nagpur a Global City by 2020” it is organizing Global Nagpur Summit 2015 on 21st-22nd November 2015, at Nagpur with pre-summit activities commencing from July 2015 onwards. The summit is aimed at creating a new Global Development Platform for individuals, organisations and administrators of Nagpur city which has the potential of becoming a globally recognized city for the varied sources, central positioning and unique value propositions it exudes.

Ltd. for IT professionals and students (Designers, developers).

Appathon is a challenge for techi keeda's in Web Development, Mobile Application Development to come and execute a given idea in the time span of 48 hours (3 days) in Digital world. There are so many social problems which needs attention and solution. Appathon tries to recognize such social problems for which a technical solution can be provided to build a smart city.

Indian government is trying to develop such technological solutions for day-today societal problem to make every city a smart city by building more transparent and reliable platforms.

Appathon is one such platform where students are given problem statements based on social issue and will ask the participants to provide a technological solution to it. This is a step to contribute to the novel concept of Indian government.

Participants would be provided with space, food and other minimum requirements during 48 hrs. Participants are welcome from Pan-India with a maximum of 3 team members and minimum of 1. Juries will set out a problem statement, then participant will start the race against time, and each other, to come up with a winning mobile/web app solution by the end of 48 hrs.

Over the weekend, there will be interactions from top industry individuals, activities and prizes to be won. Alive team and mentors will be there to talk through participant problems and ideas and help them to bring their idea to life.

What is Nagpur First?

Nagpur First (NF) - a group of enthusiastic people who were born, raised, educated or worked in Nagpur, and love Nagpur. Currently these Nagpuris may or may not live in Nagpur, but they keenly help, support and contribute towards Nagpur City's growth and development.

Nagpur First is a Charitable Trust registered under Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950. Nagpur First, taking a step toward its vision being catalyst for realizing "Nagpur - a global city by 2020", is organizing the first of its kind summit under the banner of Global Nagpur Summit. Following are the Summit activities:
